Chez le grand Bharal ou Mouton bleu de l’Himalaya, m\u00e2les et femelles portent des cornes. Celles des m\u00e2les sont plus incurv\u00e9es vers l’arri\u00e8re et mesure jusqu’\u00e0 80cm de long. Ils vivent en hardes, compos\u00e9es d’un m\u00e2le et de son harem, ou bien en groupes unisexes comportant jusqu’\u00e0 une vingtaine d’individus.<\/p>\n

Il est originaire des montagnes de l’Himalaya o\u00f9 il vit entre 1000 et 5500 m d’altitude.<\/p>\n
